Desktop Font License Agreement

This Font License Agreement (“Agreement”) is a legal contract between YahyaType (“Licensor”) and the individual or entity (“Licensee”) who intends to use the fonts provided by Licensor for desktop use. By purchasing and using the fonts, Licensee agrees to be bound by the terms and conditions outlined in this Agreement.

1. Definitions

1.1. “Fonts” refer to the typeface designs and any accompanying files or documentation provided by Licensor.

2. Grant of License

2.1. Once the applicable fee is paid and in compliance with the terms of this Agreement, the Licensor provides the Licensee with a non-exclusive, non-transferable, and restricted license to utilize the Fonts as per the stipulations outlined in this Agreement.

3. Permitted Usage

3.1. The Fonts may be used by Licensee for:

a) Creating personal or commercial designs, documents, or artworks for print or digital media.

b) Embedding the Fonts into static images, such as logos or graphics, for display on websites or in digital presentations.

c) Use in desktop applications, word processing software, graphic design software, and other applications that permit font selection.

4. Restrictions

4.1. Licensee shall not:

a) Modify, alter, adapt, translate, or create derivative works based on the Fonts, except for basic font manipulation necessary for display or printing.

b) Share, distribute, sublicense, sell, or lease the Fonts to any third party, either for profit or without charge.

c) Use the Fonts in any manner that infringes upon the intellectual property rights of Licensor or any third party.

d) Use the Fonts in any manner that is unlawful, offensive, or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations.

5. Font Security

5.1. Licensee agrees to take appropriate measures to ensure the security of the Fonts and prevent unauthorized use, distribution, or access.

6. Ownership

6.1. Licensee acknowledges that the Fonts are the exclusive property of Licensor and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

6.2. Licensee shall not claim ownership or authorship of the Fonts, even if modified or incorporated into other works.

7. Termination

7.1. This Agreement is effective upon the purchase and download of the Fonts and will continue until terminated.

7.2. Licensor may terminate this Agreement immediately if Licensee breaches any of the terms and conditions herein. In such case, Licensee shall cease all use of the Fonts and destroy any copies or backups.

8. Disclaimer of Warranty

8.1. THE FONTS ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. LICENSOR SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE FONTS.

 

By purchasing and using the Fonts, Licensee acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by the terms and conditions of this Desktop License Agreement. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use the Fonts.
